Carnivore!

After a presentation to the KIM consultancy group and members on the Gazelles methodology and coaching program, I had the rest of Thursday afternoon off. I really needed to get caught up on my online classes and prepare for the beginning of the fall quarter at JFKU, but instead I decided to take in a bit of Nairobi and put it all off until tomorrow, a full free day. Jesse and I walked downtown to check out the Sarova Stanley’s spa and fitness room – an option we have staying at the Sarova Panafric.

Taking our usual position at the Sarova Stanley (built in 1902)

We decided to have dinner at Carnivore, a great restaurant where they grill every kind of meat you can imagine. Waiters bring it out on big skewers and carve it onto your plate. Yes, me the fish-and-chicken-only eater at Carnivore! I now make a second exception to the diet (the first is the ribs at the Rendevouz in Memphis). When in Kenya, one must do Carnivore!

Taking a bite of crocodile!

I’m loving it here in Kenya!
